Dear administrator. My name is Nasos Davaris and I’m educational psychologist and researcher in University of Thessaly and in the successful Kindergarten ‘Babyland’ in the city of Volos (Periphery of Thessaly, Central Greece).
I found very interesting the way that Waldorf school program is structured. We are interesting about Waldorf education and we would like to learn about teacher education. I wonder if there is a brief seminar circle, lasting some weeks.
‘Babyland’ is one of the most successful private schools in the city of Volos (200.000 people live here). Our main educational model is a combination of Literacy and Emotional development and it works very well. One of our basic theoretical frames in our educational program is Vygotskian approach of Social Development Theory .
Nevertheless, our sense is that it worths trying to combine Social Development Theory with Waldorf Education practices, especially in hands – on activities.
Best regards,
Nasos Davaris
